Bungalow comprises 4 parts; each a scale model of an unassuming middle class house one might have built anywhere around Vancouver (or elsewhere for that matter) in the 1930s. The work reflects upon the notion of renovation - the ubiquitous addition - that may have occured over the subsequent decades (50s, 70s, 90s) to meet the needs of successive generations. As a result of taste and/or fashion these houses morphed into ever more distant versions of their original selves. The work looks specifically at the inside spaces and how these redefine the exterior.
< Finally the 90s additions in yet another green modify the house to its most recent iteration.
